I created a custom field called Park & Resorts in my JSM queue, but I'm unable to sort by it. I would like for my agents to look and the queue and be able to support their designated location. Any help is greatly appreciated. Custom Fields .jpg

Hi @Ivan Guerrero ,

You have to define in the queue configuration which field do you want to use to sort.

Hi Kate, this option seems to have been removed. Is this correct?
It has most likely just changes locations but I cant find it. Any assistance would be great.

Regards.

Hi @Ivan Guerrero

welcome to the community!

just to add to Katarzyna's answer, if you are looking for a more interactive experience and are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you might like the app that my team and I are working on: JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. As JXL also supports all JSM fields, many of our customers use it as an alternative to extension to JSM's native queues - with full support for custom fields, of course - like so:

I'm using a custom field Assigned team here, but it would work the same with any other custom field. You can also use custom fields across JXL's many advanced features, such as support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), or conditional formatting.

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
