Showing reports created on a dashboard

Rachel Frechette June 9, 2024

It appears that the only reports that you can show on a Dashboard are ones that you create on the dashboard with a gadget.

Is there a good plug-in out there that allows you to place the reports you create in JIRA Reports on a Dashboard?

Many thanks.

Rachel

Hi @Rachel Frechette

One of my favourite gadgets is Rich Filters by AppFire.  It's very simple to use and it allows you to have filters.

Regards,

Fabian

@Fabian Lim

We actually do have AppFire at work. I'm experimenting with it now. But there is no way to put those reports on a dashboard, correct?

Thanks,

Rachel

Any rich filter report can be added to the dashboards.

Hi @Rachel Frechette,

Our Great Gadgets plugin offers many gadgets for tracking projects in Jira Service Management and Jira Software.

Have a look over this article:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/App-Central/An-effective-dashboard-for-Service-Desk-and-Customer-Support/ba-p/2360369

As you will see, the app covers those reports and offers much more metrics: workload, SLA, throughput / velocity, customer satisfaction, created vs resolved, time to resolution, cycle time, lead time etc.

In addition, these gadgets include also a Data tab with details data about issues, which can be exported in CSV.

This app is free with Jira free plan (up-to 10 Jira users). Otherwise, you could start with 1-month free trial. If you need any assistance, please fell free to contact us as support@stonikbyte.com.

Hope this helps.

Danut.

@Rachel Frechette -

To supplement what @Fabian Lim suggested, you can also take a look at the following add-ons which allow you to include in your dashboard setup -

eazyBI Reports and Charts for Jira

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211051/eazybi-reports-and-charts-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Custom Charts for Jira -Reports, Dashboards, Graphs & Tables

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220925/custom-charts-for-jira-reports-dashboards-graphs-tables?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Hope this also helps.

Best, Joseph Chung Yin
