I have enabled a list of approvers. However, is there a way or a workaround so that if a field is selected from a dropdown list during ticket creation that it automatically choses one specific person from the list to approve only?
To clarify, you're asking for a specific approver to be assigned to an issue if a particular value is chosen from a dropdown list?
You can do this with automations for the project in question. Here's an example:
When: Issue created
If: Target Field equals
Then: Assign the issue to
