Hi there,
I understand the users have the option to log work in issues in past dates as well as future dates.
Is there a configuration available in JIRA Service Management to restrict users from logging work in past date(s) or future date(s)?.
Hi @Ashraf B
As Nic stated, you can't do that out of the box. So may want to use an app for this. See this post https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Core-Server-questions/How-to-restrict-users-from-making-back-date-entries/qaq-p/1179052
No, Jira tends not to have functions that would make life harder for people!
Why do you think you want to do this? Micromanaging when people log work is probably not a useful thing to do.

You are right, to manage this manually is absolutely a micromanagement task, and that's why it should be automated.
I don't want any changes in closed timesheets, this breaks already reported milestones and budgets.
Is there any other way to limit it except everhour? Seems it doesn't work properly with script runner.
