Question on customer portal

When the customer creates a ticket using the customer portal for onboarding, is it possible for that ticket to create sub tasks for other support groups. It so how can this be done

Hi @Tina Thomas , 

You can use automation to create a linked issue. Sub-tasks might not be the best option, since you mention that these tasks would be executed by other 'support groups'. I assume these support groups work in a different Jira project. If that is correct, sub-tasks is not an option, but linked issues are.
