I am looking to create an automation or alert related to open tickets assigned to a certain user/users that meets a certain threshold (for example exceeding 25 open tickets).

I know that I can create an automation on this and set conditions for assignee and status, but what I don't know is how to set the condition to indicate the threshold.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Gregory Alexander Romero

Welcome to the community.

This should be possible, but this would be a rule per user.

Hi @Gregory Alexander Romero ,

I haven't seen a function to see the ticket threshold. Most of the Jira automation is related to the issues and not viewing the accumulation of tickets and using a operator like > or <.

Another way to see the amount of tickets across team members, is to create a live dashboard. Use widgets like piechart or table and configure the issue count by user. If you are using scrum, you can see the amount of issues assign to each user before the sprint starts. There's ways to see that if using kanban.

If you are using JSM, then you can create queues for each user to see the issue count.

Hope this helps.
