New Tickets not showing up after Halp migration ("Please provide a value for required field")

I just migrated our queues from Halp to Jira Service Management. Now, when a new issue is raised from a request form, I see this error message: 

"We received this error from your project: " "Your request could not be created. Please check the fields have been correctly filled in. Please provide a value for required field 'Urgency' Once resolved, you can try to create the issue again."

I assume that I need to set "Urgency" as not required, but I don't know how to change that in Jira (I'm really new to the Jira interface so I'm trying to learn where everything is).

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

There are a couple of ways to make a field required. One is to set the field as required in the field configuration that you can find under Project settings > Fields. another way is a condition in the workflow that makes the field required. In JSM there is a third option which is on the request form where you can mark a field required, and you can check this by going to Project settings > Request types.
