Migrating from Halp to JSM

Scott McDonald May 13, 2024

Does Atlassian provide documentation for migrating Halp tickets to JSM?

Is Atlassian sunsetting Halp?  When will that be? Will users still be able to access the system or will it be completely powered down?

Is there any financial incentives we an give customers to apply towards JSM?

@Scott McDonald -

Take a look at this FAQ link from Atlassian on Halp, hope this helps.

https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/halp#general

I would also recommend that you contact Atlassian Support directly (https://support.atlassian.com) for further support on addressing your asks.

To add a little to what @Joseph Chung Yin , Atlassian also provides a migration tool for Halp > Jira Service Management.

Hi @Scott McDonald

I am afraid you are right. Halp is sunsetting, and Assist is replacing it. If the main benefit you derive from Halp is integrating Jira Software or JSM with Slack to make your service more conversational and improved, you can follow this post, which previously discussed the options for creating and managing ticket creation within Slack.
