Lost ability to change assignees

Ross Davis July 15, 2022

Hi -

I recently did some clean-up and deleted a few extraneous groups in system.

Now agents cannot re-assign the issue to another agent.

The premission help screen shot is attached.

I don't get why the deleted group would even be needed if all the agents are in the Service Desk Team project role?

TIA

Ross

@Ross Davis -

For the impacted JSM project, did you check where Helpdeskers group is used?  Is this group contains your servicedesk agents (including Evan)?

I failed to check before deleting that group.

All my service desk agents are now in the group: "Jira Service Desk Agents"

I'm baffled as to why the Helpdesker group is needed...

@Ross Davis -

This means some other systems admins may have setup that group prior.  Please now check your project's permission scheme to ensure that "Jira Service Desk Agents" is being called out properly.
