Jira automation - handling of multi-entry fields

Niklas Malmberg

We have several fields on our issues that can contain multiple values. Examples here are 'labels' and 'fix versions' fields.
I would like to create an automation that would automatically populate those fields on a Subtask when created, and the data should come from the same-named fields on the parent Story (or Task).
However, my JSON is incorrect, does not work for multiple-value fields.

As a test, I send a notification to a MS Teams channel, just to see what happens, and the information is there and shown properly as text. It's just the assignment in the Edit Action that cannot be done as I tried.
Hopefully, someone here can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance,Skärmbild 2023-05-09 143504.pngSkärmbild 2023-05-09 143807.pngSkärmbild 2023-05-09 143833.pngSkärmbild 2023-05-09 144222.png

Oh, I now remember that @Bill Sheboy already explained how to copy Fix Versions. (Under Edit issue, select the field in dropdow, select COPY as action under ... to the right, then select Parent issue)
The same works for labels field.

Well all sorted now, thanks again Bill !
