Jira Permissions: view Custom fields

Hello!

We have been asked to allow a group of team members to view and comment on (but not edit) requests in Jira Service Management.  I created a group for these users, and updated the permissions of the project so they have the following permissions: Browse Projects, Service Desk Agent, Add Comments, Delete Own Comments, and Edit Own Comments.

This group can now see and comment on requests.  However, they cannot see the custom fields. What permissions do I need to give this new group so they have the same view as the Service Desk Agents?

Example 1 Service Desk Agent view:

Example 2 New Group View:

Hi @Alexandra Astor .
I think this might not be a permission issue, but actually something related to the Issue Layout.
Looks like all the fields not being shown to the New Group are fields which are empty.

Have you checked if those fields are not in the section "Hide When Empty"?

They are not, but you are correct in that is what it is doing.  When the fields have content, then they are viewable.  Thanks so much!
