There is a contact person field and an additional contact person field.
User A is
assigned to the Assignee field, or
It is assigned to the Additional Contact Person field.
It is assigned to only one of the two fields.
I would like to check the issue for which A is assigned as the person in charge or additional person in charge.

As per my understanding, you want to find for which field (Contact Person or Additional Contact Person) USER A is assigned to. Is that correct? If that is the case, then you can run the Query in issue navigator-
Contact Person = 'User A' or Additional Contact Person = 'User A'
