Hi Joseph:
Yes, you can setup a scheduled triggered rule via Automation for Jira.
Hope this helps and glad to support your ask again.

Hi Joseph,
Thanks for your response.
I'm aware of this one step but what makes the ticket creation happen is my concern.
Your help would be much appreciated.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
What is your concern? The rule can be localized just for the project in question. If you can provide a bit more information on your concern, then I can respond to you further.
Best, Joseph

The scenario is straight forward, from Monday to Friday or everyday of the week.
We need a ticket to be created.
I can understand the schedule from your previous comment.
What about the next step for it in order to achieve it.

In the rule, you just need to add an action to Create a New Issue.
It is straight forward. Hope this helps.

Hi Joseph,
Thanks for your response, it helped.
Also is it possible to associate couple of sub tasks to same task that is being created as well ?

Yes. I don't have the exact code yet. However, there is an action "Create subtasks" that you can use.
Take a look at the following references to get you started in regards to this action -

Hi Joseph,
The YouTube video was useful but i'm getting the error like below
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Ok, you will need to add a Branch rule/Related issues before your Create Subtask action. In the Branch rule/Related issues setup (select the "Most recently created issue") for the "Type of related issue".
