There is one status "Page go live" and after that there is " Published" when the status is moved to "page go live" the issue will be assigned to content editor and then the content editor will manually change the status to " published"
But when it is assigned to content editor It was not showing on the dashboards of content editor and the tasks count was not updating on the Assigned to Me column on the Dashboard.
Dashboards are created using gadgets with JQL filters behind them to display a selection of issues. To find out why the issue does not appear in the dashboard of the content editor, you'll need to check the filter behind the gadget and see why your issue does not match the selection.
From your description, it seems that in this specific case both dashboards / gadgets are looking at the assignee field, but with the same status. Either there is something wrong with the filter behind these gadgets OR - for some reason - the assignee was not updated on the transition to the page go live status.
So, to give you an action plan:
And finally: dashboard gadgets don't refresh immediately. They may be configured to be refreshed every x minutes, but they don't respond immediately. You may need to refresh your screen to see the updates reflected on the dashboard.
Hope this helps!
