I'm trying to add the portal field: 'contact us about' to the issue generated by the system. Does anyone know if this is possible and if yes, where i should look for the field?

I created portal groups, i'm wondering how the portal group can be placed in a field of the requesttype form.
You can add Services to your project and then use that if that makes sense?

I was hoping for another way to simply print the type of request chosen by the customer. Services are already in use but could provide a plan B.

you can add extra fields to the request type at portal level. Please check the following documentation https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/customize-the-fields-of-a-request-type/
