Incidents vs Alerts: How do you use them together?

Edited

Hey folks! I'm a PM on the Incident Management team for Jira Service Management Cloud working on improving the connection between creating incidents and alerts.

Would love to learn more about how your teams currently manage incidents in relation to alerts today.

Do you currently create Opsgenie incidents from alerts, or do you ever use or link alerts when swarming an existing incident? How does your team define best practice here?

If you're keen to chat further and get your feature suggestions and feedback heard, feel free to book a time with me on: https://calendly.com/dbrockwell/30min or email me at dbrockwell@atlassian.com :D

Incidentally, we recently released a feature in Jira Service Management Cloud to link Opsgenie alerts to your incidents in Jira Service Management. Keen to hear your thoughts & feedback!
