We are setting one Jira Elements connect custom field value and adding comments for some of the issues from the Java back end code for the Business requirements and the application is having Issue updated and Issue Commented notification events. Hence both the notifications being sent out for each of the Issues.
But the business requirement does not want notifications sending out for each of the Issues and the existing notification events cannot be turned off in the application.
So is there any way to add the condition through Jira configuration or any API call from the code to implement this requirements.
Hi Sandesh,
For such instance you can add a dummy Notification scheme which has no user or groups as receiver for all the events and configure it when you are doing such bulk updates.
Hope this helps!!
