In the portal page, there is a "Find Help and Service". Can it be setup and link to a KB Q&A? Would be great if customers start typing their questions and all related articles are listed.
Does the KB needs to be in Confluence? We have one project in JSM named "Ask a Question". It is used by customers to ask questions and we answer back. Could these Q&A be link to the "Find Help and Service"?

Yes for Customers to get suggestions when they start typing the question/support request, Confluence should be set up in order to achieve the same.
Confluence comes with Standard & Premium Subscription if you have a Confluence subscription in place, you should have had the space name with the project name created in Confluence and explore creating the pages and then getting the suggestions.
