How to perform Date validation in Jira service management

Date validation needs to be performed here so that it will take only future dates.

Try adding a Validator for the Create transition in the workflow. 

You can also use a Form instead and add some requirements there.

Go to Settings > Issues > Workflows

Then search for the workflow you need to change. Then select edit.

Then click on the line from the initial circle icon in the workflow - this is the Create transition. 

Then click on Validators on the right. Then add the validator to check the date.

@John FunkSure i did the same but that is going to happen once i submit the request but i want the validation should be performed at the time of filling the form fields before submitting.

It won't create the issue and will give the user a warning message that the date must be later.

Choose that first one like you have. And then compare the Created Date to the date field you want to check.
