How to create automation ?

Hi all,

I just want to ask, I have a dropdown country list which one of options is "others",

is it possible when i choose "others" and show a new field with type free text for user fill in manually in customer request type form.

I don't think so it is possible through Automation rule, but you can achieve this functionality using third partly plugin from Atlassian Market place called Script runner.

You can create behaviour using Script-runner.

You can use  Jira Service Management Forms feature to create dynamic forms using conditions in sections. 
Project settings->Forms

On the following picture "Comments" paragraph is shown only if "Other" is selected from "Drop-down" list. You can define conditions if you click on the section.
