How to count up the total # of computers by brand in Assets?

I am trying to collect a count of each brand of computer we have.  They are listed in assets.  How do I set up an AQL to get this by brand?

I am in Data center.

Please let us know if the Computer brand is setup as an object type or an object's attribute?

it is both.  I have it as an attribute in my Object Type USER; but I also have it as its own Object type that allows me to assign a computer to each user.
