How to change the left bar view?

My view(dark mode picture) on the left is an overview, but all the view in jira university(light mode picture) have panning and development with board selectors. The university board is way more useful and the lessons all use it. How do I get that better view?

Thank you! I am not site admin, so I do not think I have the power to revert back. Thank you for the help.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The New Navigation is currently in Beta release. During this time Site/Product Admins can request that it be enabled or disabled for the entire site.

In addition, if your admins have allowed it, you may be able to disable the New Navigation for just yourself.

To turn on/off the new navigation:

1. From the top right corner, click on the gear icon (if you have it) or on you Avatar and select Personal settings.
2. Under Personal Settings make sure you are viewing the General page.
3. Scroll down to Jira Labs. If you don't see that section then you will not be able to self-revert to the original navigation. If you do see that section then you can toggle the switch on/off for New look and feel.
4. Refresh the page.
