My project type is Project Management (jira work management). I want to copy all the tasks to new project with the same project type.
Dear @shreya bhatt ,
You can make use of automation and branch for all existing tasks, copy all the existing tasks to new project.
Hope this helps !

Vijay

This is how you can achieve it,
Instead of same project, select the intended project and rest all will remain same.
Hope this helps!!

Hello @shreya bhatt
If using a third-party application is an option for you, I can suggest trying our Elements Copy & Sync app that allows you to copy issues with all their content (summary, description, custom fields, comments, attachments, etc.) and their child issues.
You’ll be able to easily copy all the tasks into a new project.
Don't hesitate to try our app, it's free during 30 days and stays free under 10 users.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Clara

If you are willing to try a third-party app, you could try our app Deep Clone for Jira. The app allows you to bulk clone issues and move them between projects. You can clone multiple issues at once, including their sub-tasks, linked issues, and even attachments and comments. This could be a particularly powerful tool if you frequently need to replicate project tasks in Jira Work Management.
Here's how you could use Deep Clone for Jira to Bulk Clone:

Hi Shreya,
Just create a filter to identify the items. Then do a Bulk Change on those issues.
Then do a Move
Select the new Project and just keep following the prompts.

Well, Shreya's requirement was to copy but not to move.

Ah, I see it was edited to make that change. Thanks for pointing that out.

@shreya bhatt - Why would you want to copy them instead of just move them?

I want to create a different project for different team with the minor changes. I don't want to re write all the tasks and subtasks again.

So you want all of the tasks and sub-tasks to be available for both projects - correct?
Or do you just want to move the tasks and sub-tasks from the existing project to the new project?
