Hi everyone,
In our approval notification I want the approvers to view the issue summary and description in the email so they can approve straight from the email.
Currently I have tried adding the ${issue.summary} and ${issue.description} variable in the customer notification. But that only shows as:
[●●●●●]
[●●●●●]
Is there a way to get the summary and description in?
These pictures are from 2 different Jira Service Management profiles. The first picture does not allow me to see the issue summary or issue description. The second picture is from a different Jira Service Management profile and that does allow me to add issue summary or issue description. Where/what determines if the issue summary and issue description is locked?
So finally figured it out!
We were using a Compliance setting that would hide the summary and description.

@John Funk do you have a way to shorten the issue summary so it doesn't display the reporter's signature?
