Hi guys,
We want to hide a project to the public and use a project for internal tasks similar to the flow we have with support tickets (priority, due date etc) - however it can be seen on the helpdesk
Can you advise how we can hide a portal to the public
https://futureticketing.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals
Or is there another tool we should be using for something like this?
Hi Ann:
To control visibility of your JSM project in the HelpDesk portal, all you have to do is to set Customer permission configuration to "Customers added by agents and admin" (Project settings >> Customer permissions). This will let your project admins/agent to control who can access the project.
The project permission scheme configuration (out of the box) doesn't need to be modify.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Ann Marie Guinan In order to hide the project you need to change the Browse Project permission from Application access( any logged in user ) or Anyone on the web to the Project roles.
