Hi - I'm looking to build a dashboard that shows within a sprint the "Time Spent" against the "Original Estimate" at Story Level Cummulative for an Assignee but I can't seem to find a gadget that would work.
So example, I'm the assignee on 4 stories - each one had an Original Estimate of 10 hours. On story 1 - time spent was 10hrs, On story 2 - time spent was 8 hours, Story 3 - time spent was 10 hrs, story 4 - time spent was 5 hours in the sprint. So cumulative, Time Spent was 33 hours against Original Estimate of 40.
Can anyone help??

By default this gadget is not available in the jira cloud.
As a workaround you can try workload piechart gadget where you can get the workspent by assignee and original estimate by assignee like bellow. you can create a filter for which you want report for user stories and then use that in that gadget.
If you can then You can go for some third party plugin available on the market place which is mentioned by @Danut M _StonikByte_
Accept the answer if it helps
Thanks Sachin - at the moment I'm trying to explore all OOB options before making any recommendations for plugins.

Hi @Scott Logan
Welcome to the community !!
Since you are using Jira premium, you can use Advanced Roadmaps for this use case.
Thanks

Thanks for this - we are using advance roadmaps but I've been unable to find a gadget that gives the view I'm looking for

Hi @Scott Logan,
You could try the gadgets offered by our Great Gadgets plugin. It offers many gadgets, including some that allow calculation based on time estimates. See also this blog article: Tracking an agile project that uses time estimates with Great Gadgets for Jira
To see the chart for a specific person, you could create a filter that returns the issues of that person and then configure the Release Burnup Burndown Chart to use it.
Or, you could use the Advanced Issue Filter Formula Gadget to calculate the sum of Original Estimate and the sum of Time Spent and display them side by side, as in this example:
If you need assistance in configuring these gadgets, feel free to contact us at support@stonikbyte.com.
Thank you,
Danut M.

Hey @Scott Logan -
This is a common request and there is not an oob solution that I am aware of - I was looking for a resource for you and suggest this answer for more information: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/How-to-get-Velocity-chart-values-using-JQL/qaq-p/1711114
If you are open to working with a 3rd party we can definitely help at minware - because the nature of software engineering is non-linear we have a few different views available.
One of the crowd favorites is our Low Velocity notification you can see below -- tickets that took longer than expected are highlighted for review during sprint retrospectives. You can see that a story can be expanded all of the way down to the commit level and the story point estimates "roll up" to the higher levels:
As I mentioned there are a few other views / groupings available depending what insight you are after - we offer a free trial if you want to check it out!

Hi @Scott Logan,
I am Marlene from codefortynine.
Another option might be our app Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.
With our app you can create statistics for any number field, including "time spent" and "original estimate". It is also possible to filter the filter results on you dashboard gadgets dynamically with a controller gadget. You could e.g. filter per sprint, to display only results for issues within a specific sprint.
You can check out our app without installation on our demo dashboards.
