Do not add emails in CC as request participant

In our instance, we have a particular project that allows tickets to be opened via email.

The difference to the others is that the project manager does not want emails added in CC (either at the time of sending the email or if someone is added to the loop later) to be added as a request participant in the ticket. Is this somehow possible?

I've been exploring the settings and it seems like this option exists but it will affect all projects, right?

Unfortunately, this setting cannot be disabled there is a suggestion open to track this request at Provide Option To Disable Automatic Adding Of Request Participant When They Are CC'ed in an Email

As a workaround, you can create an automation to clear this field each time is updated.

Trigger: Field Value Change

Action: Edit Issue

Add the "Request participant" field and leave it empty
