Disable pinning function (service request)

Hello together,

I wanted to ask if it is possible to disable or remove the following function.

In a service request we have specified the field Desired date.

But we would like to remove the pinning function.

Unfortunately I can't find a way to disable it.

Hi @Patrick Borchert 

If by "pinning function" you mean "post function", this can be removed on the workflow of the specific issue type in which this post function is executed.

In company managed projects (you have to be a Jira Admin):

• Go to project > project settings
• Workflow > edit the workflow of the specific issue type
• Find the transition to which this post function is executed and click it
• Locate the post function in question
• And remove it
• Publish the workflow

In team managed projects:

• Go to project > project settings
• Issues > Find the issue you want > click edit workflow
• Locate transition to which this post function is executed and click it
• Locate the "action" in question
• And remove it
• Save your changes

You should ought to take a look for any jira automation rule that might run (instead of a post function).

I can't find a way to disable this in the workflow.

Oh, you mean the pinned fields. Now I got it :) 

Disabling this functionality is not possible. It's a feature that jira has for the users to pin fields which they found important. And pinned fields are different for each user.
