Hello,
I have some confusing regarding DC licences, if I have 50 licence, does it mean any active user is consuming one, if that person in not working and we disactivated their licence does it mean we can use it later?
what is JSM DC licence type?
Thank you so much in advance
As @Dave Mathijs already explained a user with product access (aka an active license) will count towards your consumed licenses.
You can activate/de-activate them as you see fit. Someone did actually create an app for it to manage the licenses automatically based on the activity/idle time of a user.

(i've been using license optmizer and that works fine for us)
What exactly do you mean with the JSM DC license type? it works the same as JSW just different tiers.
You can find details here: https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/data-center#what-does-a-new-data-center-subscription-cost
Hi @Meriem Naim , a deactivated user doesn't use a license seat. You can always re-activate a user later. In Administration > Applications > Versions & licenses, you can check the current usage.
