Working through this: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/connect-jira-service-management-services-to-jira-software/
It says:
To connect services if none are connected:
From your project’s sidebar, select Incidents.
Select Connect services.
Search for or select services from the list, then Connect.
Once services are connected, select Manage services to add more.
But I don't have any "Connect services" button that I can find. The closest thing I can find is in the Services "Edit" interface, where there's a "Project" box, but it just says "No project linked".
How can I establish a relationship between my service desk project and my software projects?
Hi @Daniel Roig
This is Dhiren from Team Exalate.
It seems like you are trying to sync issues between a JSM instance and a JSW instance i.e. 2 different Jira instances. Have you considered a third party integration solution to fully synchronize your Jira instances bidirectionally? If not, I would urge you to look at Exalate where you will be able to set up this integration in a matter of minutes and customize it as per your requirements.
Please feel free to book a customized demo if you would like to see the product in action.
Thanks, Dhiren
Hey @Orlando Richards , I was wondering if you ever got a solid answer on this? (that was not just a sales pitch for an app), I came across the exact same issue today and the Atlassian Documentation is still there as if this is a valid feature? If I go to a Software Project > Settings > Toolchain and scroll down to Incidents I can see that "Jira Service Management" is AVAILABLE but when I click the "View Incidents page" I get routed to an error page.
@Nikola Perisic, you mentioned it is not a Cloud feature anymore but I could not find that within the reference you provided (apologies if I missed it).
It sure seems like its still there, just also confused by this.
Appreciate your help!

@Orlando Richards hi and welcome to the community! If you're open to exploring options - feel free to check out ZigiOps at the Atlassian Marketplace. It's 100% no-code & secure integration platform (does not store any data). It can easily connect your Jira instances, transfer and sync issues/tasks/projects (you name it). It can be customized in accordance to your use cases. Do not hesitate to explore it - it has a Free Trial so you can test it.

Hi @Orlando Richards Another option to link your projects to the service desk is through the Jira Two-Way Integration app on the Atlassian marketplace. I put together this guide on how to set up a connection between Jira and Jira Service Management. From there, any time you create a new issue in Jira or Jira Service Management, a new linked issue will automatically be created in the other.
You can also add rules to restrict the conditions under which issues sync (this is easiest to achieve by using labels and adding rules linked to specific labels).

Welcome to the community @Orlando Richards !
That feature is not in the cloud anymore, so I would recommend installing app named Exalate (this is a paid app by the way), you can try it for 30 days. The way it works is when you create a request, the issue gets created in the project that you have selected as the second project.

Otherwise, there is no integration, since these are two different products.
