Conditional post function using components and comments

Hi all,

I would like to add to my workflow a post function to transition "create".

In other words, I'd like to add a comment after the creation of the issue, based on the Component's value.

es. If (components = A) --> add a comment "@name"

Is it possible in Jira cloud?

You can use Automation to achieve this. Automation occurs post event, I.e. post create in this case. Would this work for your goal?

Trigger - issue created

condition - component = xxx

action - add comment

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
