We are looking for a solution that will allow us to introduce Checklists to Jira but also will update our Confluence boards based on movements of the Jira card. My team manages a large number of various applications. We have a Confluence page for each application that has details about the specific application including changes to those applications. If we could automate the update of those Confluence pages based on Jira card updates and progress it would take a lot of the tedious work of keeping Confluence up to date.
A single solution for both would be preferred but if not, we are open to adding multiple options.

I think the topic related to the automatic update of Confluence pages was covered by @shib Saha. This thread explains pretty well.
As for the Checklist, I can recommend our Issue Checklist for Jira Pro or a Free plugin that allows you to create a checklist on the fly for the issue. It can be also automatized using Default Templates.
