Change management questions

Team, I need to configure change management properly and have following questions

1. How do I get a link for Creating change, currently it opens in sub window and can't get URL
2. How can I create automations for all changes i,e
- When any change created automatically it will go to CAB queue
- if any other queue is selected CAB manager will be notified
- all queue members will be notified of change being assigned to them
- change approver will be notified that change is pending his/her approval
- once approved implementer group will be notified
- once updated by implementer as successful/failed cab manager and assignment group will be notified.

Jira Service Management (JSM) does provide you with options for all of the queries.

  • JSM has a user portal that can be used by end customers or people who do not have access to Jira to raise the change
  • All of these can be covered with a combination of notifications and automation

The system is highly customizable but does have some limitations as well, so hopefully, all your business cases would be customized.
