Receives an email with a link to view the ticket.
Is that also possible without having to register?

How did that customer created the ticket in the first place? Did he/she send an email or logged-in in the portal? In any case the customer must have an account within your instance. To do the thing you need you have to change a few settings (screenshot below), but I wouldn't recommend it:
