Can Jira automation approve a service desk request?

I've set up a rule to auto-approve requests when submitted by a person from a group.

auto-approve.pngI used 'transition the issue' action to move the request along the workflow from initial step 'waiting for approval' to 'waiting for support'.

But it did not work. I added 'Automation for Jira' user to the hidden 'Approvers' field in hopes that it is a permission issue but still I get error that the target state cannot be resolved.

I am using OOB workflow for approvals and it works great otherwise.

Is there something missing or wrong? Can I get the rule to approve requests?

Sorry. Got it figured out.

There is an 'Approve/Decline' action I should use instead
