@Benjamin Paton I am interested in joining the EAP. We are moving some of our product support from Jira and confluence server to cloud in Q3 2023. Our product teams are highly dependent on SSO so right now we are looking for some plugin based options for SSO for our customers. We can save a huge cost if we able to leverage this new feature. The only concern I have is that our in house developed IDP is based on OIDC/OAuth so can you suggest if this will be useful for us as the expected new feature will be SAML based?

Hi @Benjamin Paton We're interested in joining to EAP, thanks!

We would love to join the EAP! We have 5000+ Jira customers who can access our help center, but are unable to check the status on their tickets. This would also be impactful for them to reference previous help and solutions, as we use JSM for our IT helpdesk, HR inquires, workers comp requests and our innovation committee.

Thank you @Benjamin Paton !

@Benjamin Paton ,

We're also interested in joining the EAP if there is availability.

Hi Atlassian support - is this happening already? We currently have both SAML (enforce SSO) and OAuth (Applies to All) configured and whenever we send out an invite to a new user, the new user account gets automatically added to SAML authentication which was not the case. We have not made any changes from our end also. Please advise.

Thanks!

@Benjamin Paton We would be more than glad to join the EAP and to extend the security perimeter to external users too.

Hello, what is the status, please? Multiple customers are asking for this and count of questions is raising. Thanks

@Benjamin Paton  We would also like to join the EAP. If this feature works how it sounds like, it would be awesome.

@Ash Young do the new SSO capabilities fix this issue, or is this considered a separate problem?

Hi @Jason Freeze

The issue you linked would be a separate feature request. That wouldn't be related to this new SSO feature.
