After renaming a project, the Approval request email still refers to old project name - Why is this?

Problem:

Following the steps in the article for editing service project details, the project name has been changed, but the email sent to the approvers requesting approval still refers to the old project name.

Why is this and how to ensure the approval required customer notifications refer to the new project name?

Solution:

This is usually because the Portal Settings screen still refers to the old project name.

As seen below, the project name in Project Settings > Details specifies the name as 'Demo Service Project' whereas the name in Project Settings > Portal Settings screen has the value as 'DEMO PROJECT'.

When this is the case, the email sent for approval, refers to the name in the Portal Settings screen as seen below:

To ensure that the correct project name is reflected in the approver notification email as well, the project name has to be changed in the Portal Settings screen

Please note - These settings can only be changed by a project admin.
