Disabling Address Spoofing in Notifications

Is there a way to disable the spoofing of the Service Desk outbound e-mail address with the customer's name/e-mail?

Ex: When comments on an issue, a notification is sent to all other customers from: "" <>. Spam filters on customer sites are flagging the behavior as spoofing.

Hi James,

I would take a look at the post by Justin Freeman in JSDSERVER-702 and see if that helps.  The workaround uses Postfix smtp_header_checks to rewrite the headers of outgoing email.

I also found that if I manually updated the usernames to names (like 'Bob' instead of '') that the specific problem with spam filters is resolved.

However, with new customers being created all the time, this creates a bit of a user management burden.
