Default comments in JIRA Service Desk to Internal

Hi,

We have customer raised requests where we make internal comments.  We would prefer the default to be internal comments, and then if it's something we are communicating to the customer we can press the "share with customer" button.

We have been told that this is not configurable but I find it difficult to believe so checking with the community.

Hello,

There is not configuration like this. You could do it with JavaScript though:

But If I were the Admin of your Jira instance, I would refuse to embed JavaScript.
