Dashboard to show different approvers count

Alexander Yordanov October 18, 2019

Hello,

I've not been able to create a Dashboard that shows data about the count of issues different users have approved in a project. For example:

UserA - X issues approved
UserB - Y issues approved
etc

I've looked at the different advanced JQL functions https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-desk-cloud/docs/advanced-search-reference-jql-functions/

but the "approver()" function shows requests that require or required approval by a user. Not the requests that were approved by the user.

Any idea how to create such statistics?

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alexander,

It's true there isn't a native way in Jira to capture the "approver".  There is a feature request:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-4532

What we do is when a request is approved, in the post function we copy the current user into a custom field "approved by".  We then report on that custom field.

Cheers,

Susan
