[mobile] how do i see epic on jira ios app

I seem to be able to link a created issue to an epic - see this Loom: https://www.loom.com/share/49c8e66bca0d496ebd784c5196f9c64d

 

is there a way to create an issue under an epic on mobile? Or do you have to create the issue and then add the epic each time?

Hi Blaine - thanks for being a Jira Mobile user and sharing a Loom of the issue you are facing. Makes it very simple to understand :) 

I have inline commented on the Loom but in summary to create a child issue under an epic you need to be on the epic rather than on the board. We don't support inline create of child issue in an epic on the board at the moment. We have the feature in our backlog and will consider it in the future for prioritisation.
