When running IE8-all-latest on winXP and I up-vote this answer:

...it infinite hangs (see attachment) with also the progress propellor twirling away in the corner with a JS error (see attachment 2).

I let it run 5 mins, and nothing happened. When refreshing the page, things are fine again, and the vote never occured.

Yup Gregory, I just tested this and it seems to happen for me as well. I've raised a bug for this here: ANSWERS-316
