unable to create new components or components in new project

I can not add new components to a project. Not via the board or via the configuration.

I've made a new board and there its for me also impossible to create a component.

That suggests that you are not a project administrator in that project.  Could you check the permissions?

I just made the project BI3 and the board. The permissions are alright.

I'm afraid that does not tell us anything.  Could you check what the permissions are on the project?  What is the rule for project administrators?

I have the same issue. Created component is in red color with retry action possibility. Version 7.2.1. I'm project administrator.

It was caused by inconsistent cache. Restart of JIRA helped.
