how do i get to workflow

i was told to go to admin then issues then i would find workflow. i go to admin but don't see issues listed and i cannot find my previous workflow

As @John Funk has mentioned above, you may not be having admin access to Jira.

If you would have admin access, you would be able to access workflow as per the below points:

1) Click on Jira settings

2) Click on Issues

3) Click on Workflows

If you cannot see issues under settings then you are not a Jira administrator. You need to request that from your Jira administrator.
