Hi, I have below setup:

  • 1 JIRA Project
  • 1 Sprint
  • 2 Agile board with different component query

Board displays issues as per component. Both board share same sprint.

When I complete the sprint on one board then it moves not resolved items to new sprint however all the issues from another board moves to backlog.

Is this expected behavior? or setup is incorrect.

Please suggest.
Thanks!

This is functioning as you have configured it, given your current setup. The problem – When a specific board triggers 'sprint done', only the issues in that specific board's Done Column are marked as completed. All other issues are moved to the top of the backlog, or the next planned sprint.

To make this work as you intend, create one more Scrum board looking at ALL issues and columns. Control the Sprint from this board only.

To fix – Why don't you use Quick Filters or Swimlanes to combine all teams onto a single board?
