Open kanban card in new tab

I use the Kanban functionality daily, and you sued to be able to open a card in new tab by clicking on the card key or with previous versions by simply clicking on the card (Ctrl+Click).

However that function seems to have been turned off and instead the only you can do that now is via the 'useless' mini summary page .

Does anyone know of a way to do this without having to open the mini summary page?

Ctrl+Click on the issue key works for me (using JIRA Cloud on Mac with Chrome). At least it opens a context menu allowing me to pick 'Open in new tab'.

Cmd+Click on issue key doesn't currently work, but it should. There is a bug raised with Atlassian for this:
