This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Configuring email notifications

Is it possible to send a notification when an issue has not been updated in a certain time?

  • Run a filter for something like
    • updated < -1h and resolution is empty
  • Save it
  • Subscribe to it and put it on a regular cycle

That filter will regularly email you a list of all issues that are unresolved and have not been updated for over an hour.

Thanks for the input Nic, that worked perfectly! Do you happen to know how can I add the last comment on the ticket to the email? 

You'd need to edit the template that builds the content of the email.
