Is it possible to extend Atlassian cloud authentication to a self-hosted Nexus domain?

Andrew Ceponkus November 21, 2016

Is it possible to use Crowd for Atlassian-hosted applications (JIRA, Confluence)?  I would like to extend Atlassian hosted authentication to a self-hosted Nexus (3.1) repository fronted by a nginx reverse proxy.  Is there an alternative to using Crowd for this type of setup?

Cloud uses either google accounts, or an internal version of Crowd as a user directory.  This is not exposed to the outside, and you can't use other directory systems for Cloud either (yet).  So if I understand what you're trying to do, the answer is "no"
