How do i obtain a workflow snapshot?

You can use "export to xml" to get a copy of one downloaded.  Or export it to  marketplace export

Those might not be helpful, but you've not explained what you mean by "snapshot", so there's not a lot more I can tell you.

How do I "export to xml"? To better explain my request I am creating a import check list. So i will need screen shots of workflow added to the workflow schemes.

There's no automated way to achieve this as far as I know. When I create workflows I self-document including screenshots.
