This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Deleting a Sprint

Specifically - it should confirm or deny whether issues contained by the sprint will also be deleted.

I suspect because that would be quite obvious that "wiping a load of potentially important issues out simply because you decide you don't need a specific sprint" wouldn't be implemented.

It's certainly obvious that it should not delete the issues.

However, JIRA's Agile implementation is so flaky that as a user I simply don't trust any of its behaviours.

Hence, I refer to the documentation to find the expected behaviour ("is this going to delete all my important issues?") but the document in question doesn't give any hint.
